Weather related Game and Practice Cancellations

Please be advised that it is very difficult for Quinndale Council members to inform coaches and parents of Rain out or other weather related cancellations, in a timely manor (remember we work too), therefore, most Lightning and Rainout cancellation decisions will be made at the field before the game/practice. Note: Coaches have the right to cancel practices due to poor weather conditions, but Quinndale Council is responsible to apply all the City of Hamilton Sports field policies. Only the Referee and Quinndale Convenor will make the decision about canceling games. When City of Hamilton cancels all sports field activities, there shall be no games or practices at Quinndale. These policies are in place to ensure safety of players, spectators and officials and to prevent significant damage to the sports fields. May 15th Registration Update

As of May 15th, due to a change in Uniform supply, Quinndale Council has opened up additonal player spots in our Junior division only. Ages 4 (by May 31st) 5 and 6 years olds. The increase in spaces will bring that division up to our traditional enrollment level.

A number of people have enquired about openings in Junior division recently. Therefore it is important to download and print a Registration form asap (go to the Registration tab above and follow the instructions) and delivery the completed form and $105 cheque to 6 Ridley Drive (off of Queen Victoria) and put the information in the front door mail slot

Inter 1 and Inter 2 both have waiting lists
Senior 1 and Senior 3 are full

Senior 2 - 13 and 14 years still have a number of spots open. If you know of a friend or neighbour who might what to play , encourage them to sign up.

EVALUATION PHONE CALLS - If you have not received a call yet, you should with in the next day or two.

Evaluations are on Tuesday May 25th, 26th and 27th - 2 division per night

- Tues – Juniors - be there by 6 pm / Senior 3-be there by 7pm
- Wed – Senior 1- be there by 6 pm / Senior 2 -be there by 7pm
- Thurs – Inter 1- be there by 6 pm / Inter 2 -be there by 7pm

Must wear cleats and shin pads or you can not go on the field

Only Senior 2, - 13 and 14 year olds have many spots available

2010 Final Walk-in Registration & Key dates

Quinndale Community Council 2010 Youth Soccer - Final Walk-in Soccer Registration

Final registration date is April 17th at Huntington Park Recreation Centre 9am to 1pm. Room 1 or go to registration at the top of the Webpage and download a registration form and mail it in with a cheque for $105. Proof of age is required

Divisions:
Junior - Tuesday and Thursday 6 - 7 pm, Year of Birth - 2004, 2005 and (2006 up to June 1st)

Inter tier 1 - Monday and Wednesday 6 - 7 pm, Year of Birth - 2002 and 2003

Inter tier 2 - Monday and Wednesday 7 - 8 pm, Year of Birth - 2000 and 2001

Senior 1 - Tuesday and Thursday 7 - 8 pm, Year of Birth - 1998 and 1999

Senior 2 - Tuesday and Thursday 8 - 9 pm, Year of Birth - 1996 and 1997

Senior 3 - Monday and Wednesday 8 - 9 pm, Year of Birth - 1994 and 1995*
*girls may play up to 18 years of age in Senior 3 (1992-1993)

All games are played at Mount Lions Park on Queen Victoria Dr.

Key dates :

Quinndale Convenors will call all players with dates and times of player evaluations by May 8th

Evaluations - During week of week of May 25th

Season starts - Week of June 7st (12 week schedule - one practice and one game per week)

Team Photos- mid to late June - dates to be determined

Playoffs - evenings, week of August 30st , Consolation finals -Wednesday Sept. 8th and Thursday Sept.9th

Championships and Fun Day -Saturday Sept. 11th 9am to 4pm

Final Registration date for 2010 Season

Quinndale will hold the Final 2010 Registration date on Saturday April 17th from 9 am to 1pm at Huntington Park Recreation Centre Room 1.

There are still spots available in all 6 divisions, but a few divisions are almost full.

If you don't want to wait until the 17th, you can click on the "Registration Tab' above, follow the instructions and mail in the downloaded Registration Form with a cheque to the address noted in the instructions.

Cost is $105

2010 QUINNDALE YOUTH SOCCER REGISTRATION

at Huntington Park Recreation Centre 87 Brentwood Drive

SATURDAY MARCH 13 – 9am-1pm

MONDAY MARCH 22 – 6pm-8pm

TUESDAY MARCH 23 – 6pm-8pm

Cost- $105.00 (please bring proof of age) or Register Online by downloading a registration form,from the "Registration" Menu above then follow the mail-in instructions.

This co-ed recreational soccer league is for 4 year old* to 16 year old boys and girls.

All games are played June through September, at Mount Lions Park, located on Queen Victoria Drive (Upper Ottawa and Stone Church). (* 4 years of age by the start of the season -June 1st)

2010 Registration details for Quinndale Youth Soccer will be posted by February 14th on this Website.

Two methods of Registration will be available in 2010:

1) Download Registration form from this website, available Monday February 15th, fill out the registration form, mail in the form with a Cheque to the address provided.

2) Walk-in Registrations will occur in March at Huntington Park Recreation Centre. Dates and times to be announced by February 14th.

Limited space available in some age groups.
