Thank you to everyone for submitting your stories and comments during the season, whether positive or negative, the Council reviews and considers all your comments.
The website was never intended to be a BLOG! If you feel the need to express your thoughts, please consider the following:
- the potential negative impact of what you write
- before posting it, take a moment for sober second thoughts. Often a 24 hour cooling off period provides the appropriate level of reflection.
- The most effective way to resolve issues are to discuss them face to face, or over the telephone with appropriate person(s). You can also contact any member of council by email through the website - go to "Council" on the menu bar.
- Quinndale has a chain of command for dealing with issues; parent to coach, coach to convenor, convenor to council. If you do not get satisfaction, feel free to approach other council members.
Finally, the 2008 season is nearing completion, playoffs always increase everyone's emotions. Please cheer for the players, keep the negative comments to yourself, be good sports, don't make mountains out of mole hills. Remember players, coaches and referees will make mistakes. This in not FIFA, it is meant to be recreational and fun for our children. As adults, whether spectators, coaches or officials, it is our collective responsibility to foster an environment of safety, fun, fair play and participation in sport.
Thank you
